First line: My name is Brandt Cross, and I once ate a caterpillar on a dare...I love the Denzazen books, and decide to read Faceless (#2.5) before reading the final book! I've always enjoyed Brandt's character and the soul jumping aspect is cool. I was pretty bored by the book up until about 15-20% on my kindle. I almost quit reading it but it got much better when introduced to a new character named Wentz. He stole the story for me!
Brandt is a really nice guy with a ton of emotional baggage. His love interest Devin was also just a nice girl. Their characters didn't really stand out which is why I'm sure Dez & Kale are the characters behind the real story and these are the extras. I enjoyed reading about them but am happier to be reading the final book in the series as I've missed the stand out characters!
If you are a fan of the series, check it out, it's fun reading about different sixes and their abilities. The book wasn't my favorite but it will keep you interested.

My title said it all. I really hope the writer gets better on the sequence as he warms up on the subject.
If you have read the first to books, then you know all about Des's cousin. His gift is so cool! But at the same time a huge burden. Glad he found someone who loves him for him.
be warned this book will grab you from the start till finish jus accardo like shelly crane and Abbi Glines has a gift for hooking you in. you wont be able to put it down until you finished it.
More more more!! The story continues from another angle and it's a great one to see. Thanks so much Jus!! More please!!! (Sorry for being so greedy ;) )
Jus Accardo has the best voice! I loved getting to see more about Brandt and I have a new crush on Wentz. This story has it all. Romance-check. Suspense-check. Great story-check.

I love this series! Brandt is one of my favorite characters in this series. I am zoo glad he got his own little book. I feel hope brewing for dez. I just hope she and kale can escape the clutches of denizen. Devin was a great new character in this book series. I hope she can tag team with Brandt to bring down the evil forces. Wentz was a hoot. I hope is a source comic relief in the next book because these books tear my heart out. I need an occasional laugh.
I really didn't like Brandt as his own separate character. Even though it's the obvious choice if you're going to pick a spin off. But it didn't add to the story of Dez. And it didn't stand out enough to be its own stand alone.it seems like it just gave you the perspective of how it is to live on the inside.and if that's the case u could have made this one in kale ' s point of view on his life before Dez. Which would have kinda made sense bec he doesn't like to talk about it in the other books when Dez asked him.but the series is so unfinished. I hope the author decides to finish it.
